Our Story
Cruz Rodriguez didn't learn this trade in a classroom. He started as an apprentice the moment he was old enough to work — cutting stone, learning the craft from the ground up, and eventually working his way up to lead fabricator and installer. For over two decades, stonework wasn't just a job. It was the standard he held himself to every single day.
In 2019, Cruz made the leap and founded Rodriguez Marble & Son — a company built on everything he'd spent 20 years perfecting. No shortcuts, no subcontractors, no upsells. Just honest work done right. Since opening, the company has completed over 600 projects across the South Bay, earning a reputation built almost entirely on word of mouth and repeat clients.
Today it's a true family operation. Cruz runs the business alongside his son and daughter, with a small crew of skilled installers who share the same standard: every project gets treated like it's going in our own home.

Founder & Lead InstallerCruz has been working with stone since he was a teenager — apprenticing under experienced fabricators, mastering the craft over 24 years, and eventually building a company that reflects everything he believes about doing the job right. He is still hands-on in every project, and that has never changed since day one.
